Electronic Tour Sheet

Tour reports provide valuable data to many sectors in the upstream. Contractor use it to generate invoices and to manage personnel and equipment. Operators use to to verify billings, review past drilling practices and design future wells. Oilfield service companies use it to refine their equipment and services. Regulatory agencies use it as a document of legal record.

For decades the CAODC Tour Sheet has provided the upstream industry with an effective and consistent format to capture drilling data.

The Tour Sheet is first and foremost a drilling contractor's tool.

Having CAODC manage the Tour Sheet specification - the 'look and feel' and the content - means everyone - rig contractors and their customers - benefits from a consistent reporting mechanism.

In 2008, the CAODC Electronic Tour Sheet underwent a substantial overhaul to better serve today's data-intensive environment.
