Annual Luncheon

Date(s): March 23, 2018

Time: 11:30 AM  EST - 2:00 PM  EST

Mr. Kenney committed himself to public life in the early 1990s as President of the Canadian Taxpayers Federation where he fought for lower taxes and fiscal responsibility on the part of all levels of government.

In 1997, Calgary voters elected him to Parliament where he worked to unite conservatives nationally. Since then, he’s been voted the “best overall,” “hardest working,” and “most knowledgeable” MP by his colleagues. Jason was called “perhaps Canada’s best immigration minister ever” by the National Post, and also led Canada’s two largest ministries: Employment and Social Development, and National Defence.

As Multiculturalism Minister, he helped to double the Conservative Party’s support among new Canadians.

In 2016, Mr. Kenney left federal politics to lead the charge to unite Alberta’s two major conservative parties. He won the leadership of the Progressive Conservative Association of Alberta in March 2017 and subsequently secured the leadership of the United Conservative Party of Alberta in October of the same year. In December 2017 he was elected Member of the Legislative Assembly for Calgary—Lougheed.

Mr. Kenney continues to work toward the goals of bringing back the Alberta Advantage and uniting Albertans around a principled, compassionate, and diverse free-enterprise United Conservative Party.
